Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Voluntary Donations & Contributions

Rashtra Seva Dal is an autonomous non-profit social movement. Financial contributions and donations received from citizens, members, and supporters directly fund youth camps, shramdaan community water projects, library archives, and secular cultural performances.

Donations are voluntary and generally non-refundable. Once a tax-deductible receipt or official receipt has been issued, cancellations cannot typically be processed.

2. Erroneous or Duplicate Transactions

In the event of an inadvertent technical error resulting in duplicate transactions, excess debits, or unauthorized charges through our banking channels or online payment gateway:

• Please notify our finance desk in writing within 7 working days of the transaction.
• Include payment proof, transaction reference number, bank account details, and donor name.
• Upon verification, refunds will be initiated within 7 to 10 working days back to the original source of payment.

3. Event & National Sammelan Registrations

For paid delegate registrations for youth leadership camps, seminars, or the National Mahatma Phule Sammelan:

• Cancellations requested at least 7 days prior to the commencement of the camp/event will be eligible for an 80% refund (20% retained for administrative and logistical prep).
• Cancellations requested within 7 days of the event, or non-attendance without prior notice, are non-refundable.
• In the event of cancellation or postponement of a camp by Rashtra Seva Dal due to unforeseen circumstances or weather emergencies, delegates will be offered full transfer to the rescheduled date or a 100% refund.

4. Publications, Books & Cultural Audio

If books, periodicals, or commemorative materials received by post are damaged or defective upon arrival, please share photographic proof within 48 hours of delivery. A replacement copy will be dispatched immediately at no additional charge.
